Why we have this resource:

In a state where it can feel increasingly risky to live openly and honestly, we believe it matters to name and celebrate the places that are committed to safety, dignity, and joy for LGBTQIA+ people.

Jacksonville is home to vibrant, affirming spaces where queer folks can gather, worship, learn, heal, create, and simply be. From inclusive faith communities and mental health providers to welcoming coffee shops, arts venues, and community organizations, these places are actively working to create belonging in a time when belonging is not guaranteed.

This page is a living resource—a growing list of businesses, churches, nonprofits, and community spaces that have demonstrated a clear commitment to affirmation and safety. Some are explicitly LGBTQIA+-led. Others are strong, public allies who back up their welcome with action.

You deserve spaces where you are not merely tolerated, but celebrated.
